Immerse yourself in a serene, historic tea room within a temple, embraced by nature, and craft your own omamori.

An omamori is a small traditional Japanese charm, often carried for wishes, protection, or encouragement. In this workshop, you will hand‑stitch the fabric pouch that holds the charm, creating a piece filled with your intention and quiet prayer — whether for yourself or for someone you care about.
This workshop is arranged as a private or small‑group experience. Each session is coordinated individually to match your travel plans, as the availability of the tea room varies. Please share your available dates, and I will suggest the times that work best.
What to Expect
A gentle introduction to the meaning and cultural background of omamori
Choosing your fabric from several options
Learning simple hand‑stitching techniques
Sewing your omamori pouch at your own pace
Placing your intention or quiet prayer inside
Finishing with a cord and closure
A peaceful moment to appreciate your completed piece
